Sree Siddhi Vinayak Bhagawan and His Abode in Mumbai
Many thousands, standing in an amazingly self- disciplined queue for hours together specially on Tuesdays, get to the lotus feet of Sree Siddhi Vinayak, all the while thinking of the pleas to put forward to Him at the time of Sree Darshan....for the health, wealth, sons and daughters, success in the exams etc..etc, in total ignorance that the Lord does know our requirements. There are arguments that only when you ask for something you will get it,or only a crying baby gets what he wants. Yes that is true, only a crying baby gets what he wants, but if the baby cries for a chocolate and stops crying once he gets it, is he a wise baby? Another baby cries even if he is given chocolate or sweets, and stops crying only when his mother lifts him up in her arms, isn't this baby a wiser one? True, this baby also needs the chocolates , but he is sure that his mother will fulfill all his wishes, because his mother knows about his needs. So when we have faith in the God that He will fulfill all our wishes-He answers to all our prayers, we only have to fall on His Lotus Feet and the rest will be taken care of by the God. We should pray God to allow us to His Proximity and remain faithful ever to Him. Yes, but that is possible only by the Uttama Bhakthas. Most of us are in the Pradhama Bhaktha category who only go to the Gods when we have some difficulties.
Bhagawan Krishna has described about the three categories of bhakthas in His Bhagawat Geetha and He said all the three types of Bhakthas are welcome to Him and He fulfills their needs as long as they have Bhakthi in Him. And how true it is, one has to visit the Siddhi Vinayak in Mumbai. All those Devotees of Sree Siddhi Vinayak- not just Mubaikars but all India level bhakthas who throng the temple premises on Tuesdays, go to Him with specific requirements for five or seven consecutive Tuesdays and invariably...all have their wishes fulfilled by Him..crores of Bhakthas can vouch on this. A Prathyaksha Varadana Prabhu in this Kaliyugam, His beauty is not describable by words. One has to actually see Him to believe. One sight of Him, one's purpose of having eyes is fulfilled...offer a coconut---Sreephal.....what a beautiful name---to Him with Bhakthi, all your needs will be met by Him,whether you ask for it or not,all your prayers will be answered by Him,whether you pray or not..

It is believed that one Darshan of Him on an Angaraki day--Sankatahara Chathurthi falling on a Tuesday-is equivalent to 21 times visiting Him and not surprisingly, there will be lakhs and lakhs of Devotees in never ending queues on that day, often taking more than 12 hours for the turn for the Darshan. They all wait with out a grudge and at the end of the day the Sree Darshan is their Solace. And they are the true Bhakthas and for us, even their Padarenus on our heads will fulfill all our prayers, if we are "Dasa Dasoham".
