Bhagawatham-10.01--Krishna Jananam

"Twam Adbudam Balakam Ambujekshanam"
"Balam mukundam manasa s
marami"

In the IX skandam Sukadeva explained the Surya vamsham and the Chandra vamsham in details, describing the Krishna Charitram in just two slokas. Parikshit maharaja wanted to listen to Krishna Charitram in details. In fact Sukadeva Bhagawan was waiting to see whether Parikshit was interested in the Krishna Katha, because only those who're interested in the Hari Katha are eligible to hear it. There are some vital differences in the Ramayana and and the Bhagawatham. In Ramayana the Bhagawatha Dharmams are kept in the heart and the Samanya Dharmams such as Satyam,Pitru vakya paripalanam etc,are shown outside, where as in the Bhagawatha Puranam , it's Bhagawatha Dharamams at the heart and at the outside. So Ramas life is Charitram, any one can emulate, where as Krishna's life is full of Leelas which are not to be emulated, they are Bhagawat Leelas only to be remembered and to be chanted.
It's Bhagawan Sree Krishna's leela that He takes birth as the son of Devaki and Vasudeva,as Bhagawan with four hands, and with Shanka,Chakra,Gadha and Padma in each hand and on their request He becomes a Prakruta Sisu and asks parents to take him to Gokulam....Tharhi mam Gokulam yaya.....On that Ashtami Thithi at the midnight hour the Paramatma appeared as the Demigods and the Devas made the Garbha sthuthi...........
"Satyavratham Satyaparam Trisatyam,
Satyasya yonim Nihitham cha satye,
Satyasya Satyamrutha Satya Netram,
Satyatmakam Twaam Sharanam Prapannah."
That Param Satya swaroopi Bhagawan Sree Krishna took the Manushya Avatara on this earth. All the Devatas made the Pushpa vrishti and Vasudeva took the new born child to Gokul as the Krishna Leela made all the gate keepers and others into deep sleep, another indication as to what is in store for the people in the Vraja bhoomi.
"Jai Jai Sree Balakrishna."
