Bhagawatham-10.05-Vrindavana Leela-3
Sravana Mangalam Sreemadathatham,
Bhuvi Grinanthi Te Bhuridha Jana: II "
As promised to the Gopies, KRISHNA at the end of their Vrutham went to the banks of Yamuna and started playing the flute ready for Rasakreeda. The Lord is ready to give the Parama Padam (which is very remote for all the Yogies and Munis and other Sadakas,) to all His Bhakthas He is testing all the Gopies for their preparedness by asking them to return to their houses to attend to their husbands,He even says that looking after the husbands is the Paro Dharmam of ladies, even if the husband is Dussilo, durbago, vrudtho or sick. But the Gopies are not the lot to waste the opportunity to unite with the God and refuse to leave and Krishna starts the Divine Dance with them. In between, He finds that the Gopies have some type of ego and to remove that from them He disappears from the scene. Gopies try to find Him searching all the places and when they find that even Radharani could not find Krishna they start singing the Sthuthy of the Bhagwan which is known as the Gopi Geetham, inwhich they praise the Lord and sing His Gunas. They recollect how prosperous the Vruja Bhoomi became after the arrival of Krishna and what all super natural things He did to save the Gopas and their families. Seeing their cries -with Krishna Darshana Lalasa- Krishna re appears as Manmadha Manmadha. Then the Divine Dance continues with one Krishna to One Gopi, Many Gopies to one Krishna, two Gopies to one Krishna and so on..Even Lord Shiva took part in the Dance wearing a Gopi-dress ALL OF US are Gopies-females and only Lord Krishna alone is the Male. All we have to do is to strive to get nearer to the Lord all the times as the Gopies did. That is the Lesson from the rasakreeda.
Once Gopas along with Krishna went to the Siva temple in Ambikavanam and did the pujas for Siva and took part in the Mahotsavam there And at night when they were sleeing in the forest one python came and attacked the Gopas and Nandagopa. But when Krishna touched the python it became a Vidyadhara and started speaking thus.....Lord I was a man named Sudarshan and when I made fun of the Vairupyams of the Maharshis like Angirassa they cursed me to be born as this snake and I am grateful to Thy that I am relieved from that shapam now.

Another time the Vaishravanbritya Shangachooda took away all the Gopies from the Vraj and Krishna had to kill Shangachooda to rescue the Vraj Ladies from him. Then Kamsa's friend Arishta Asura took the Vrishaba roopa and started attacking the Gopas and Krishna sent him to the Swqargaloga by killing him. Then again Kamsa's another friend Kesi Asuran took the roopa of a Horse from the Sindhu desam and hence known as "Sindhujam". This horse started distoying the whole Vraj and came against Krishna to kill Him. But the Bhagawan had no difficulty in finishing Kesi. This bestowed a name " KESHAVAN" to SriKrishna.Vyomasura who took a disguise of a Gopa was also killed by Krishna.
Kamsa was in distress to see that all his Asuras are one by one killed by young Krishna and was thinking about other ways to get rid of Him. He sends Akrura to Gokul to get Krishna and Balarama to Madhura in the name of inviting them for a Mela -and thought enventually he can kill them in the mela. Akrura was a Bhagwat Bhaktha and knew that Krishna can kill the Demon Kamsa and goes to Gokul and invites them for the Meal on behalf of Kamsa. Both Krishna and Balarama get ready for the Madhurapuri but the Gopies cry for them:
" Evam Bruvanaa virahatura brusam, vrujastriya: Krishnavishaktha manasaa: I
Visrujya lajjam rurudu: sma suswaram,Govinda Damodara Madhavethi "II
And with broken hearts towards the Gopies and the Vruj Bhoomi and with the intention of finishing the Dushkarta Kamsa soon , Krishna and Balarama left the Vrindavan for Madhura, ending the Vrindavana Leela.
Keshava.......Govinda......Damodara........ Madhava,
Krishna........Gopala.........Dayanidhe........Mukunda.
