The Sleeping Beauty

Ananda Padmanabha Swami....Thiruvananthapuram

Lord Mahavishnu is the Sustainer of the World,He takes care of all the Creations by Brahma, providing all the basic needs of each one of them all the times. He seems to be sleeping all the times, as seen in Trivandrum, then how is He able to do the never ending job of nourishing the creations-- when we are found wanting to do our jobs even when we are awake? That is why He is Bhagawan who can do anything with just by a "Sankalpam" and even though He is in slumber, He sure has the sankalpam to feed the creations. In doing so He gets the Parama Aanandam and so He is the Ananda Moorthy. He has the Ananda (Endless) resources for that and so He is called the "Anandan".The most loyal servant of the Lord ,Ananda Sheshan is always at His side where ever He goes and when He is sleeping Ananada becomes His bed,and hence the Lord is Anandan.
Lord Vishnu created Brahma in the begining of World after the Maha Pralaya and asked Brahma to do the further creations. Brahma comes up on the Padmam (Lotus) which springs out of Bhagawan's Nabhi-Padmanabhan. And even though Anada Padmanabhan is sleeping there's Brahma on His Nabhi who continues the creations and with Bhagawan's Sankalpam the creations are sustained. One has to visit Trivandrum to see all this with ones own eyes . And His three Sannidhanams, one each for His Thirumugam,Thiru Nabhi and Thiru Padam invite every one to give His blessings. Wealth of the World

KOLHAPUR MAHALAKSHMI

"Who is the wealthiest person on earth"......Forbes' list will tell it's Mukesh Ambani, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett,Carlos Slim,.....and so on. They calculate the assets of individuals to make such a list, which keeps on changing with the fluctuations of the Stock Markets and the value of their country's currency. Vedas say the whole wealth of the Universe belongs to Lakshmy and a small "Kadaksham" of the Goddess of Wealth can make anyone a billionaire. And the gentlemen or women in the Forbes list have the blessings of Goddess Lakshmy, can be believed to be true. Their dedication and hard works can be treated as "Poojas" of Mahalakshmy and the resultant wealth as Her Prasadams to them . The wealth we mean is the value of the assets one possess and this is not just the money alone, but should include the virtues as well. To our disbelief money increases when spent more and more so when spent on Charities--Bill Gates can vouch on this. Mahatmas advise spending one tenth of ones income in charities. Feeding the poor is the best charity one can think of.

LORD MAHA VISHNU is often called as "Shriyapathi" the spouse of wealth-Lakshmy, and any worship to Him will be pleasing to Lakshmy Devi also.

NAMA MAHIMA

CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.

The God is some times EKAROOPA and other times He's ANEKAROOPA-and He is the ENDLESS with many names. Some times we call His 108 names and other times 1000 names and because of our ignorance,we think that is all His Names. Even if we call His names one by one without repeating, we have to chant for many Janmas to complete because all the names in this world are His, all the billions of names, that are pronounce-able or otherwise, are belonging to Him,because He's resident in each and every one of them. So even if we call ONE of HIS Names which is equivalent of all His names --SAY "RAMA"-it should give us what ever we wish for. Then the doubt comes in our minds why we should conduct Akhanda Namas..........-in Jamnagar there's a Bala Hanuman Mandir where the Nama Japam-"Sree Ram Jaya Ram,Jaya Jaya Ram"-is done for the past 40+ years continuously, day and night!!.......... The Lord appeared even for a single call of Draupathi, Gajendra or an Ajamila. We are doing the Nama Japas loud and clear, but are they coming from our inner hearts.....are we surrendering us to Him in totality.....are we really calling Him with total Faith in Him.............. are the tears coming from our eyes when we do so........ may be they do, for a fraction of a second with out our knowledge......Since we do not know that moment of bliss, we have to continue chanting His Names without any break and hence our forefathers have advised us to do the Akhanda Namas. Now, who gets the benefit from Bhagwan Nama .................it's not a surprise that all we bhakthas are getting the fruits of His Nama Sankeerthanam, but the Gods Themselves are getting the benefit, is. It is said that Rama Nama was the real strength for both Lord Rama and Sita Devi when They disunited by the Demon Ravana. And Hanumanji was the Guru who united both Ram and Sita Devi, which shows that we too have to get the Mantra Deeksha from our Gurujis......

BHAGAVANNAAMA SAAMRAAJYA LAKSHMI SARVASWA VIGRAHAM

SRIMADH BODHENDRA YOGEENDRA DESIKENDRAM UPASMAHAE ||

RADHE KRISHNA
Hanumanji Maharaj
"Yatra Yatra RaghunathaKeerthanam...................................................."
And Hanumanji is in all the places where ever Rama Nama is chanted and his eyes get filled with tears all the times he listened to the Rama Gadha. Hanumanji did not go to Vaikuntam when whole of Ayodhya went with Sree Ram,because he wanted to remain with the Bhakthas who sing Rama Namam at all the times. We have to keep chanting the Hari Names all the times because.........

HARAER NAAMAIVA NAAMAIVA NAAMAIVA MAMA JEEVANAM,
KALAUV NAASTHYAEVA NAASTHYAEVA NAASTHYAEVA GATHIR ANYATHA ||

AND the Lord Himself had said......

NAAHAM VASAAMI VAIGUNTAEY NA YOGI HRUDHAYAE RAVAV
MADHBHAKTHA YATHRA GAAYANTHI THATHRA THISHTAMI NAARADHA ||

AND we have no other way, in this Kali Yuga, other than Govinda Keerthanam,

KALAU KALMASHA CHITHTHAANAAM PAAPATHRAVYOPA JEEVINAAM
VIDHIKRIYA VIHEENAANAAM GADHIR GOVINDHA KEERTHANAM !!
Hari Aum...
